- Summary of Request
- Dear Electoral Commission,
As you disclose in your privacy notice
your website uses Google Analytics.
As you certainly know, the Google Analytics tool allows tracking at individual level (see Google's helpful pages here, detailing the myriad of possibilities tied to their "User Explorer" feature:
I am curious to evaluate for myself the consequences of this tracking, beyond your own assessment.
In my experience, getting a copy of one's own tracking data is very useful for that purpose, but also a great mean for educators to render any debate around surveillance more informed and more concrete.
Therefore I wish to obtain, through a Subject Access Request, a copy of my personal data, available to you through the Google Analytics "User Explorer" feature. I have included below my signature the relevant cookie values, as well as a copy of my ID should you need it.
Note: This request is only for this Google Analytics data.
